There are many ways to make a significant impact on the work that our local affiliate does through Sponsorships. Sponsorships provide the baseline resources that help us recruit and communicate with our stakeholders and repair and construct with our partners. Sponsorships are a give and take between the donor and our affiliate and we will be pleased to work with you to develop a positive relationship that is beneficial to both of us.
 
A Brush With Kindness
A Brush With Kindness seeks to bring volunteers together to live out their faith and values by helping low-income homeowners restore their homes so that they can continue to live in a safe, decent and affordable home. Repairs vary in expense based on the size of the project and the extent of repair work to be done. Typically, it costs about $5,000 to paint the exterior of a one and a half story home. Volunteer groups are asked to sponsor the cost of the home they work on. Partial Sponsorships range from $1,000 to $3,000.

East Biloxi Repair Program
Eighty to ninety percent of the affordable homes in East Biloxi were severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Eighty-two percent of the homeowners there had no flood insurance and many have little or no funds to rebuild. Our goal is to help in the rehabilitation of 500 homes in East Biloxi before the end of the year 2007. When one house in a neighborhood gets worked on, other homeowners return and start repairs on their homes, too, revitalizing the neighborhood faster. It costs about $10,000 to perform a partial rehab of a home in East Biloxi and $20,000 for a full repair. Full or partial sponsorships are available.

ReStore Sponsor
The ReStore is an invaluable resource of funds for our home construction and repair business. It defrays almost all of our operating costs and cash donations have a greater and more direct impact on our building programs. The ReStore Sponsor receives yearlong signage within the store, driving many customers to their own businesses. ReStore Sponsorships begin at $1,500.

ReStore Community Day Sponsors
Matching sponsorships drive up sales at the ReStore! When we have Community Day Sales, we ask our sponsors to match a certain dollar amount of sales. Four Community Day Sales per year are planned. Sponsors are recognized in advertising for the sale.

Website, Newsletter and Annual Report Sponsors
Habitat for Humanity is one of the most successful volunteer organizations in the United States. Its high visibility attracts many people who are looking for opportunities to give back to the community as well as people who are interested in our services. Sponsorship of our communications like the Website, Newsletter and Annual Report ensure that we are able to give consistent and up-to-date information to our stakeholders. Sponsorships start at $500.
