Joanne Jones and Dan Purvis Win 2009 Labor of Love Award
The Greater Prince William Coalition for Human Services honored our very own Joanne Jones, Programs Manager, and Dan Purvis, Construction Manager, with a Direct Service Employee Award at their annual luncheon on Thursday, June 11, 2009. The award was given to them as a team for their work in implementing the affiliate’s A Brush With Kindness home repair program for existing low-income homeowners in its first full year of operation. They provided repairs to eleven homes in 2008 and have already provided services to fourteen clients in the first six months of 2009 through the A Brush With Kindness program. [More]
